General Information
Babel is a utility program that interconverts between many file formats common to quantum chemistry. Babel can read and write GAMESS, Gaussian, PDB, xyz, and many other formats.
Running Babel
To run Babel, follow the instructions in the getting started section. Then execute Babel with the command "babel -m" or "babel -i[itype] [ifile] -o[otype] [ofile]".
Example
To read the gaussian input file H2O.com and produce an xyz format file H2O.xyz, type:
"babel -igzmat H2O.com -oxyz H2O.xyz"
