The University of New Mexico's (UNM) Center for Advanced Research Computing (CARC) premiered it's "Big Data to Knowledge" (BD2K) video at the 2013 Supercomputing Conference (SC13) Technical Exhibition in Denver, Colorado, November 17-21, 2013. The video highlights nine researchers from the University of New Mexico and the challenges and excitement involved in the complex process of translating very large datasets into new discoveries and understanding. The participants discuss the details of their research and how it relates to big data in this innovative video that ties together a diverse group of multi-disciplinary UNM professors and researchers.
